What is Private key?

The secret cryptographic key that controls a wallet and authorizes spending — derived from and protected by your seed phrase.

How it works

Whoever holds the private key controls the funds. It never needs to be shared, typed into a site, or stored in the cloud. The seed phrase is the human-readable backup that regenerates it.
