Terms of Service

Last updated 18 October 2026

These terms cover the guides and any other paid product sold on richchris.com. By buying or using a product, you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't buy — and if you already have, email me for a refund under the policy below.

What you are buying

Each guide is a digital product — a PDF (and, for the flagship, a companion code repository). After payment, a download link is emailed to the address you provide. Delivery is automated and normally immediate; if it doesn't arrive within 24 hours, email me and I will sort it out.

Licence

Your purchase grants you a personal, non-transferable licence to read and use the guide yourself, including the code, for your own projects. You may not resell, redistribute, or publish the guide, or share the download link or files with others. The code samples are yours to use and adapt in your own work.

Payment

Payments are processed by Stripe. Prices are shown in US dollars at checkout. You are responsible for any taxes that apply in your jurisdiction. I never see or store your card details.

Refunds

If a guide isn't what it was described to be, or you're simply not satisfied, email [email protected] within 14 days of purchase and I will refund it. No interrogation, no hoops. Refunds are returned via Stripe to your original payment method.

I ask only that you delete the files after a refund. A refund ends your licence to the product.

These guides are educational, not professional advice. The crypto, DeFi, and markets material teaches how systems work and how to reason about them. It is not financial, investment, legal, or tax advice, and it is not a recommendation to buy or sell anything. Trading and on-chain activity carry real risk of loss. You are solely responsible for your own decisions, your own keys, and your own money.

No warranty

The guides and any code are provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. I work to keep them accurate and current, but software, protocols, and services change, and I cannot promise a guide will be error-free or fit for a particular purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, I am not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of a guide or its code — including lost funds, lost data, or lost profits. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the product.

Acceptable use

Use the guides and code lawfully. Do not use them to attack systems you do not own or have permission to test, or for any illegal purpose.

Changes

I may update these terms; the version in force is the one published here when you buy. Material changes will be reflected in the date at the top of this page.
